Brush with Chompy is a children's tooth-brushing timer created by Starbird House Inc. We designed the app with privacy in mind, especially because it is intended for children and families.

Information We Collect

Brush with Chompy does not collect personal information from children or other users through the app.

The app does not require an account, login, email address, birth date, location, photo, or other personal information. Brush with Chompy does not use third-party advertising, third-party analytics, or tracking technologies.

Brusher Profiles and Progress

Parents and children may create local Brusher profiles containing a nickname, selected avatar, profile color, and earned stars. This information is stored locally on the device and is not transmitted to Starbird House Inc. or stored on our servers.

Deleting a Brusher profile from the app removes that profile and its associated progress from the device.

Device Permissions

Brush with Chompy does not request access to your device's location, camera, microphone, contacts, or photos.

In-App Purchases

Brush with Chompy offers an optional one-time in-app purchase to unlock additional content. Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store using Apple's StoreKit system. Starbird House Inc. does not receive or store your payment-card information.

Apple's handling of information related to App Store purchases is governed by Apple's own privacy policies.

Advertising and Tracking

Brush with Chompy contains no third-party advertising and does not use third-party tracking or analytics SDKs. We do not sell personal information.

Children's Privacy

Brush with Chompy is designed for children and families. We intentionally minimize data collection and do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the app.

Purchasing features, restoring purchases, opening external privacy information, and sending feedback are protected by a parental gate.

Feedback and Support

If a parent or guardian chooses to contact us by email, we will receive the information they voluntarily include in that email, such as their email address and message. We use that information only to respond to the inquiry or provide support. We do not use support communications for advertising or tracking.

Data Retention and Deletion

Brusher profiles and brushing progress are stored locally on the user's device and can be deleted through the app. We do not maintain server-side copies of Brusher profiles or brushing progress.

Support emails may be retained as reasonably necessary to respond to requests, maintain business records, prevent abuse, or comply with legal obligations. A parent or guardian may contact us to request deletion of information they previously provided directly to us.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy if Brush with Chompy's features or privacy practices change. The current version will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
